I grew up at Lichubagan,Uttarpara, D/O Sri Amarnath Mukhopadhyay and Late Smt.Tripty Mukhopadhyay. Nice to see a webpage of Uttarpara, specially when you are far away from the place which you once called your home. As they say, you can't the girl out of Uttarpara, but you can't take Uttarpara out of the girl. Although I now live in the USA, my heart and soul is and will always remain with Uttarpara!
